Although this trip could not possibly get more relaxing, we know packing for it can get be a little overwhelming. What do we bring with us when we spend time at the Florida Keys? Below are some of our 'Keys Vacations’ essentials.

A Straw Hat

Spending your days under the sun and on the water means plenty of opportunity for UV exposure. A big straw hat will not only protect your complexion and provide lots of shade, it will also add a splash of style and lux to your daytime looks.

Sunscreen

Along with a fashionable straw hat, we recommend lots of sunscreen. You will be getting a lot of direct sun exposure, so make sure while you are getting that “bronzie” glow, keep your skin protected with SPF.

Beachwear

You will be spending lots of time outdoors here, mostly by the crystal blue waters. So, you will need to bring your best swimsuits and lightweight cover ups (we love linens). Bring a few of each because you will be following “island” dress code throughout your stay!

Sandals and Sunglasses

You are on vacation mode, and nothing screams “chill” like a pair of flip flops and shades. In a tropical paradise, sunglasses are a must! Not only do they protect you from the sun, but they are considered to be an essential accessory to elevate your tropical vacation attire. “The best memories are made in sandals”, so definitely recommend bringing a pair. Plus, it is just easier to shake off all that sand and water you will be enjoying.

A Beach Bag

This is where you will be throwing all your accessories and essentials in for the trip. A beach bag for a beach towel, food, beverages and all the things listed above. Make sure to find one that has enough space and convenient pockets. Throw it all in and keep it near as you explore the Florida Keys!
